Our Story

Rockies Power Reserve Ltd was founded in 2025 by Aaron Doyle, a Calgary-based electrical engineering leader with nearly 20 years of hands-on experience in power systems, renewables, and general electrical engineering principals. For the past seven years, Aaron has successfully operated his own electrical engineering firm, delivering projects across North America's numerous industrial sectors, and holds both CET designation with ASET and an Advanced Certificate in Sustainable Energy Management with BCIT.

Seeing the rapid growth of Alberta wind combined with the province’s urgent need for reliable, dispatchable clean power, Aaron launched Rockies Power Reserve to seize the once-in-a-generation opportunity to build grid-scale battery storage that keeps wind energy working 24/7, creates wealth for Albertans, and accelerates the province’s clean-energy leadership — all while proving that world-class renewable infrastructure can be designed, financed, and built right here at home.
